My name is Marie-Sophie Boggasch and I throw out of Frosted Axe Throwing in Anchorage, Alaska. After throwing at a Christmas party for the first time, I quickly got hooked and went to my first tournament - still throwing a stock watl axe. After observing and learning from the best there, I was on the hunt for my first custom axe.
Through - what some might call - fate, I found Lucas O‘Dell Designs and we started brain storming. He studied my throwing style, listened to my design wishes, and created the beautiful “Alaska”. That axe is definitely famous by now!
Ever since, we’ve been in constant contact; working on the smallest tweaks and improvements to elevate my throwing to the next level. I now am the proud owner of three hatchets (main, duals and back up) and one big axe. All are my unique, personalized style and recognized wherever I go. “I was supposed to work today and the minute I got the axe out of the box I wanted to run out and throw it - and did. It's hung literally perfectly, it's gorgeous, it's light, it absolutely flies, and it fits my hand exactly the way I wanted. My first shot was a bull and my first killshot attempt hit. The sheath is amazing work too. I can't recommend Lucas or his work enough, it was a seriously awesome experience working with him. If you're on the fence about ordering an axe from him, do it.
